Le coquelicot bleu is a young Franco-Japanese company that designs and manufactures in its workshop in Brittany, jewelry, accessories and interior decoration objects using the "Tsumami Zaiku" technique.
Le coquelicot bleu is a young Franco-Japanese company created in 2020. Trained for 2 and a half years by a master from Hokkaidô, Shiho Laignel designs and manufactures in his workshop jewelry, accessories and interior decoration objects using the technique of "Tsumami Zaiku". This traditional Japanese art consists of folding squares of fabric to create floral patterns.
From her workshop in Montfort-sur-Meu, near Rennes (35), the designer wishes to promote in France the accessories traditionally used in Japan, such as kanzashi hairpins. Beyond that, Shiho Laignel offers objects more used in France, sometimes more or less distant from the Japanese style. "Le Coquelicot Bleu" testifies to artisanal know-how and the culture of Japanese society, while offering modern and contemporary accessories.
